iPhone 17 Outer Glass Repair Saves Display Replacement Cost
This customer found us online through Google and came in to repair a regular iPhone 17. What made this case interesting was that the customer already understood the screen issue quite well. The phone display was still working perfectly, and only the outer glass layer was cracked.
After inspection, we confirmed that the touch function, display color, and screen performance were all still in good condition. Instead of replacing the entire display, we carefully disassembled the phone, separated the damaged outer glass layer, and replaced it with a new glass layer.
Other than a small chipped area and a little dent on the housing, the screen is now working well again. This is a good example of how repair knowledge can help customers save money. Without knowing about outer glass repair, many customers may choose full display replacement, which can cost much more.
